  • Malheur County Soil and Water Conservation District Seeks Engineering Consultation
The Malheur County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) has secured funds to design and install a sediment retention pond west of Ontario, Oregon. They are currently accepting proposals for design ideas from individuals and teams of engineers that, if selected, would assist in the creation of the project. More information can be found here.
  • Last chance! Register for the 2015 CUAHSI Watershed Science Master Class

Registration closes today for the 2015 CUAHSI Watershed Science Master Class, a weeklong course at the University of Arizona that will focus on hydrological and biogeochemical watershed processes.   • The National Center for Earth-surface Dynamics (NCED) accepting applications
The National Center for Earth-surface Dynamics (NCED) is now accepting applications for the 7th annual Summer Institute for Earth-surface Dynamics (SIESD), a two week institute focused on Earth-surface dynamics designed to engage aspiring scientists. Kim Ogren, Aaron Wolf's PhD Geography student, won the Outstanding Student Oral Presentation Award at the recent American Water Resources Association (AWRA) Annual Conference! Well deserved! Kim is doing her PhD dissertation research on the Columbia River Treaty.
