  • 3-6 Month Internship Project in Chile - Funds for Travel and Living Costs Available

Hello Hydro Community,

Hamil Uribe, a colleague of Dr. John Selker, has some fascinating stream flow/reservoir level/rainfall data, and funds to fly someone down to Chile and pay their expenses while there.  The project will be seeking to generate some intriguing research publications.  Applicants are required to have usable Spanish speaking skills, and have completed the bulk of their hydrology coursework.  If interested in a 3-6 month internship, please contact Dr. Selker at John.Selker@oregonstate.edu.

  • Dr. Stan Gregory Retirement Reception!

Dr. Stan Gregory, Distinguished Professor of the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, is retiring after over forty years at Oregon State University.  The Department of Fisheries & Wildlife is hosting a reception on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 3 – 5 PM in Room 20 of the Forest Sciences Laboratory (3200 SW Jefferson Way, just west of Richardson Hall).  Please join us in celebrating his many years of service as professor, mentor, advisor, researcher, colleague, and friend.
