Water Community Announcements

Volunteer opportunity for those interested in hydroacoustics.  On Dec 12-16 the OSU CTEMPs.org team will be installing an acoustic fiber optic system on the Calapooia River along with a string of high-performance seismometers.  If you would like to participate in this event, please contact Dr. John Selker.

Hydrophiles event:  Are you going to the American Geophysical Union (AGU) annual meeting this year? If so, join the Hydrophiles for a drink at AGU in San Francisco! Meet at the 21st Amendment Brewery (563 2nd St, San Francisco) on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 pm.  All current (or past) students or faculty working in a water related field at Oregon State are welcome to attend.  Contact Pat Burns (patburns937@gmail.com) with any questions.
