Kim Ogren, Aaron Wolf's PhD Geography student, won the Outstanding Student Oral Presentation Award at the recent American Water Resources Association (AWRA) Annual Conference! Well deserved! Kim is doing her PhD dissertation research on the Columbia River Treaty.

  • Children's Clean Water Festival
The Children’s Clean Water Festival is a one-day environmental education event for 4th and 5th grade students from around the Portland Metro area. The Festival reinforces STEM, Common Core and Next Generation Science concepts through water-focused classroom presentations, exhibits and stage shows. Each year more than 1,400 students from local schools come to a college campus for a day of learning and fun!   • CUAHSI 2014 AGU Early Career Luncheon Nominations
The opportunity to nominate individuals for the CUAHSI 2014 AGU Early Career Luncheon is now availble. This event offers a chance for early career faculty members to learn about how CUAHSI can support research and teaching efforts, as well as an opportunity to network with other early career faculty from throughout the nation. The event will take place on December 15th from 12:00-1:30 at the San Francisco Marriot Marquis.   • Within Our Reach conference - Volunteer Opportunities for Students
The Within Our Reach conference is a biennial gathering of a variety of different river restoration professionals. Students who are interested can attend the conference for free if they commit  two 4-6 hour volunteer shifts. The conference will be held on December 11-12 at the OSU Alumni Center.
