  • OSU WRGP student Allison Marshall wins Student Presenter Competition at the 2013 AWRA Annual Water Resources Conference!

A huge congratulations to Allison Marshall, whose presentation entitled "Ask The Experts: Collaborative Modeling to Assess Climate Impacts on Water Resources in the Big Wood Basin, Idaho"  was chosen as the winner of the oral portion of the Student Presenter Competition at the 2013 AWRA Annual Water Resources Conference in Portland, OR.  The conference was held on November 4-7th and featured a wide range of OSU graduate students and faculty presenting and presiding at this meeting.  Great job Allison!

  • CE540 Term Project Presentations:

The CE540 “Unsteady flows in Rivers and Pipe Networks” class will present their term projects on December 5th (Thursday) from 10 to 11:50 am in Kearney 202. There will be 5 group presentations. Two are on wave propagation (1D and 2D) on floodplains of the Baxter River (California), one is on effects of low deck bridges on flood extension (Baxter River), another is on dam break, and the last one is on propagation of open channel and pressurized flow waves in an actual combined sewer system.  Please email Arturo Leon at arturo.leon@oregonstate.edu for any questions or additional information.

  • Winter 2014 Course: CE 540 Special Topics / STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND MODELING

Meeting times and Location: Mon/Wed 14:00‐15:50, KEAR 124 (CRN: 39481)

Course Description: This course will present state-of-the-art practices of urban drainage systems design, stormwater management and modeling of stormwater and combined sewer systems. (Please see attachment for more course details)
