Since the project's inception in October 2010, we have held fieldtrips, workshops and seminars for a "Learning and Action Network" (LAN) of researchers, students, water resouces practitioners, elected and appointed decision makers and K-16 educators. The goals for the LAN are to:
enhance advancement in science by placing a deliberate emphasis on societal relevance and adaptation,
review methods and information sources for consistency and regional relevance,
support information exchange among the community of water managers, user, researchers and educators in the Willamette Basin, and
adapt and communicate project findings to reach a diverse audience.
