Learning & Action Network

Since the project's inception in October 2010, we have held fieldtrips, workshops and seminars for a "Learning and Action Network" (LAN) of researchers, students, water resouces practitioners, elected and appointed decision makers and K-16 educators.  The goals for the LAN are to:

  • enhance advancement in science by placing a deliberate emphasis on societal relevance and adaptation,
  • review methods and information sources for consistency and regional relevance,
  • support information exchange among the community of water managers, user, researchers and educators in the Willamette Basin, and
  • adapt and communicate project findings to reach a diverse audience.
